  • Products Data: Our product catalog (e.g., names, prices, descriptions of halal meat offerings) is stored in your browser’s local storage under products-storage to display available items while you browse.
  • Cart Data: Your selected items and quantities are stored in cart-storage to maintain your order during your session.
  • This data persists until you clear your browser cache or, for cart data, until your order is completed.

1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies

• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies for analytics or advertising. The Service relies solely on local storage (products-storage and cart-storage) for functionality during your order process.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Order Fulfillment: Use your name, phone number, and cart details to process your order, contact you when it’s ready, and facilitate in-store pickup.
• Service Operation: Store product data in products-storage to display our offerings and cart data in cart-storage to ensure a smooth ordering experience.
• Communication: Contact you via phone if there are issues with your order (e.g., stock availability).

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

• Local Storage:
  • Product data (products-storage) and cart data (cart-storage) persist in your browser until cleared. They’re device-specific and not synced across devices.
  • products-storage contains our catalog and remains until you clear your cache.
  • cart-storage is cleared or reset once your order is completed or abandoned.
• Server Storage: Once submitted, your order data (cart, name, phone number) is stored in Supabase’s cloud database until your order is completed (status: "complete"), after which it is deleted.
• Security: We use Supabase’s encryption and access controls to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
• Data Deletion: Your order data is automatically deleted from our servers once your order status is marked "complete," typically after in-store pickup and payment. Local storage data remains on your device until you clear it.

3.1 Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Handles order data storage (see Supabase Privacy Policy). No authentication or cookies are required since orders are placed without user accounts.

4. Sharing Your Data

We do not sell or share your personal data, except:

• Service Providers: With Supabase as needed to store and manage order data.
• Legal Obligations: If required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Local Storage: Clear your browser cache to remove product (products-storage) and cart (cart-storage) data from your device (this won’t affect submitted orders).
• Order Deletion: Contact us at universityhalalmarket@gmail.com to request deletion of your order data before it’s completed. Once completed, data is deleted automatically.
• Access: Email us to request details about your stored order data, if any.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us if you believe we have such data.

7. International Data Transfers

We use Supabase, which may process data outside your country (e.g., in the US). We rely on Supabase’s compliance with data protection laws.
